Chelsea considering former Arsenal keeper

Former Arsenal stopper Wojciech Szczęsny is the latest goalkeeper linked with a move to Chelsea in the summer.

The 34 year old had joined the Gunners as a youth, and would play 181 times for them, winning two FA Cups during his time with the club.

However, he famously was caught smoking a cigarette in the showers after a match against Southampton in which he had made two errors leading to goals, and was subsequently sent on loan to Roma.

In 2017 he was sold to Juventus, eventually supplanting the legendary Gigi Buffon and has gone on to three Serie A titles and two Italian Cups during his time in Turin.

The financial situation at Juventus means that they would listen to the right offers for the Polish international, and Chelsea, who are in the market for a top quality goalkeeper are among the clubs who may be interested.

He will be out of control with the Serie A club at the end of next season.
