Chelsea open to goalkeeper offers

Chelsea are ready to listen to offers for goalkeeper Robert Sanchez in the summer.

They wanted to sign a new keeper in the January window, but Finnancial Fair Play concerns prevented them from going into the market.

The Spaniard joined the club from Brighton last summer, and made 19 appearances for them in all competitions, until an injury gave Dorde Petrović the chance to impress in his absence.

Petrović has since kept four clean sheets in 16 games, and, although Sanchez is now on tge comeback trail, is unlikely to win his place back any time soon.

And, with the possibility of Kepa Arrizabalaga returning from his loan spell with Real Madrid at the end of the season, there will be too many competing for the same jersey anyway.

Chelsea paid ₤25 million for Sanchez, who is under contract until 20230, and they will be hopinf t at least make their money back.
