Former Chelsea manager Mauricio Sarri is the latest name to be linked with the vacant Tottenham job.
He has also been touted as a potential replacement for Mikel Arteta at Arsenal, but there does not appear to be a vacancy at the Emirates, with the club’s owners determined to stick with the Spaniard, despite a disappointing season in charge.
Sarri has been out of work since being sacked by Juventus at the end of last season, despite leading them to the Serie A title.
Tottenham have been frustrated so far in their hunt for a new manager. Their top target, Julian Nagelsmann of RB Leipzig has agreed a deal to take over at Bayern Munich, whilst their next option, Erik ten Hag of Ajax, has now signed a contract extension with the Eredivisie champions.
Ryan Mason has been laced kin charge of the club until the end of the current season.
