Dean Henderson is ready to leave Manchester United in the summer if he is not made number one goalkeeper by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

He returned to the club at the start of this current campaign, having enjoyed a successful two year loan spell with Sheffield United.

Since then, he has been confined to a back-up role behind David de Gea, and has made just two Premier League starts.

He signed a lucrative new deal with the club last summer,  and is under contract at 2025, meaning that United do not have to sell him, and are not likely to let him go on the cheap. However, he will not want for suitors, with both London clubs Tottenham and Chelsea keeping tabs on his situation.

Henderson also knows that he England ambitions are being harmed by his peripheral role with United, especially with this summer’s European Championships looming on the horizon.
