Pep Guardiola is undecided about his prospects at Manchester City.
The Spaniard’s current contract at the Etihad ends in June, and he ahs yet to open talks about a new deal, despite reports to the contrary.
Guardiola does not have a track record of staying at any one club for too long, but City want him to extend his stary into a sixth year, although the 49-year-old has batted away speculation about his future saying “I feel sure it’s bright”.
City have not enjoyed the best of starts to the new season, and their 1 -1 draw at West Ham on Saturday meant they have dropped seven points from their first five games of the season. They are in the bottom-half of the table, and already five points adrift of Liverpool, albeit with a game in hand.
To make matters worse, striker Sergio Agúero, who has only just returned to full fitness, faces another spell on the side-lines. He did not appear for the second half of the match at the London Stadium after picking up a leg muscle injury.
