Zaha wants Arsenal move

Wilfried Zaha wants to join Arsenal, the club that he supported as a boy.

The 26-year old believes that he needs to move on if he wants to realise his sporting ambitions, but, preferring to stay in London, he has his sights set on a move to the Gunners.

That though poses a huge problem for the Gunners who would love to sign him. However, they only have a limited transfer budget of £45 million to send, and Palace value the Ivory Coast winger at £80 million. Furthermore, boosted by the cash from the sale of Aaron Wan-Bissaka, they have no need to compromise on his valuation.

Despite this, Arsenal are still confident that they can pull off a deal, and that they can boost the  funds available to Unai Emery from player sales, with the likes of Laurent Koscielny, Nacho Monreal, Shkodran Mustafi and Calum Chambers are potentially on offer.

They would also like to get big earners like Mesut Ozil and Henrikh Mkhitaryan off their books, but so far have found few interested takers for either of them.
