Arsenal ready to offer contract to Danish teenager

Arsenal are ready to offer a contract to Danish teenager Lucas Martin, who has already trained with the club.

The 17 year old goalkeeper is a free agent, having decided not to renew his contract with Danish side FC Nordsjaelland.

He has ambitions to play for a top European club, and has already spent sometime on trial with PSG in France.

Both clubs are ready to offer him a two year deal, and now it seems that he must decide between the two.

Signing a new goalkeeper in the summer is likely to be a priority for the Gunners with Aaron Ramsdale set to depart, but expecting a teenager to be ready to step up to the demands of the Premier League is a big ask, especially in a position where players tend to hit their peak later.
