Juventus want to sign Polish international defender Jakub Kiwior from Arsenal.

Originally their new manager Tiago Motta had hope to raid his old club Bologna for Italian international Riccardo Calafiori.

However, when it became clear that Bologna were not prepared to sell one of their biggest assets to another Italian club, the search for a replacement began, with Kiwior, who has been courted by AC Milan in the past, already knowing Italian football.

He played for Spezia until the Gunners bought him in January 2023.

Ironically, he may be now sold by Arsenal to make way for Calafiori, with whom they have agreed personal terms, although a fee has yet to be negotiated between the two clubs.

Arsenal will be looking to recoup most of the ₤22 million that they originally paid for Kiwior, and, although it may initially be a loan move, there will be a mandatory option to buy included in any contract between the two clubs.
