Jackson unhappy with Chelsea manager change

Striker Nicolas Jackson is one player who is unhappy with the change of manager at Chelsea and is considering leaving the club.

Mauricio Pochettino left Chelsea, allegedly by mutual consent at the end of the season to be replaced by Enzo Maresca.

However, the news did not go down well in the dressing room, with a number of players sad to see the Argentine go, among them Jackson, who credited Pochettino for improving under him.

Jackson managed 17 goals in 44 appearances in his first season in English football, and, although he could be erratic at times, that was a good return for a 22 year old, especially given the fact that he played in a dysfunctional side for much of the campaign.

And, having paid Villareal ₤32 million for the Senegalese international a year ago, they are not so replete with striking options that they can afford to let him go easily.
