Chelsea agree terms with Olise

Chelsea have agreed personal terms with Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise.

However, although they are due to discuss with their South London neighbours a schedule of payments in order to meet his release clause, that does not mean the deal is yet done and there is still room for others to hijack it.

Manchester United remain interested in the player that was born in South London, but represents France because of his parentage.

If the deal does come to fruition, it is the latest sign that new manager Enzo Maresca is trying to put his own stamp on the squad at Stamford Bridge, and there could be some significant outgoings ti summer as well.

A surprise candidate for a departure could be striker Christopher Nkonku, who was only signed from RB Leipzig last summer, but then endured an injury hit season.

He is the subject of interest from Saudi Arabia, and, whilst Chelsea are not actively considering an offer for him, they could be persuaded to change their minds if the price is right.
