Clubs tussling to sign Nketiah

A number of Premier League clubs are tussling to sign Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah this summer.

The 24 year old is expected to leave the Emirates, having fallen down the pecking order under Mikel Arteta and with the Gunners widely expected to spend big on a new forward in the forthcoming transfer window.

Now he will be hoping to find somewhere he is guaranteed first-team football and where he can find the form that helped force his way into the England team in the early part of last season.

Crystal Palace and Fulham have long been linked with a move for him, but now Wolves are also showing interest, and there have been suggestions that newly promoted Ipswich could be ready to throw their hat into the ring.

The Gunners have been notoriously poor sellers in recent years, but there will be hopes that, if any clubs want Nketiah, they can start a bidding war that can drive the final price for him to decent levels.
