Gunners put seven up for sale

Arsenal have indicated they will listen to offers for up to seven players in the forthcoming transfer window, whilst the future of Thomas Partey at the club will be evaluated.

The club hierarchy are likely to back Mikel Arteta again in the transfer window, as they look to consolidate their status as serial Premier League title contenders and a force once mote in the Champions League.

In order to make way for new arrivals and also to raise funds – something they have notoriously been bad at in previous years – they will be looking to move on some existing personnel.

Eddie Nketiah, Emile Smith-Rowe, Aaron Ramsdale, Reiss Nelson, Kieran Tierney, Albert “Sambi’ Lakonga and Nuno Tavares will all be available to the right buyer, whilst Mohammed Elneny and Cedric Soares will leave when their contracts expire.

Partey, who has a year left on bis current contract, could also depart because of concerns over his ability to stay fit for a continuous period of time.

Despite speculation to the contrary, though, the club have denied stories that Gabriel Jesus is up for sale.
