Partey could join Saudi exodus

Thomas Partey could join the exodus to Saudi Arabia this summer.

The Ghanaian midfielder has been tipped to leave the Emirates this summer, with the Gunners increasingly frustrated by his fitness issues.

Although he played against Chelsea in midweek, that was virtually the first timethis season that Mikel Arteta was able to field a midfield that included Partey alongside Declan Rice and Martin Ødegaard.

Potentially available for as little as ₤25 million, Partey has already attracted the attention of several clubs in Italy, with Juventus among his admirers.

However, now there is also interest from  Saudi Arabia, who could potentially offer the player more money.

Partey’s departure could be just one step in a midfield overhaul at the Emirates. Mohamed Elneny is out of contract, and so is Jorginho, although, in the case of the latter, there is an option to extend his deal by a year.
