 Gunners’ summer transfer targets

Arsenal have a number of positions which they are looking to strengthen this summer.

One is striker, where the club has decided to address the need to have a player capable of scoring 20 or more goals a season.

Benjamin Šeško of RB Leipzig, Sporting Lisbon’s Viktor Gyökeres, and Brighton’s Ewan Ferguson are all thought to be on the shortlist.

(Whilst they also covet Victor Osimhen, his price tag is likely to be prohibitive).

However, central midfield is also thought to be a priority. Despite the fact that Jorginho has been offered a new contract, the Gunners look light in the area of that field. Mohamed Elneny will leave the club, and another player likely to depart is Thomas Partey.

The Gunners have lost patience with the Ghanaian’s inability to stay fit for any length of time, and, given that he is now the wrong side of 30, have decided that it is time to pivot to other options.
