Chelsea set to reject Fulham Broja move

Chelsea are expected to reject overtures from Fulham for striker Armando Broja in January, despite speculation linking them with players like Ivan Toney and Victor Osimheim.

Their West London rivals are in need of a new target man, having seen Aleksandar Mitrović join the Saudi exit in January.

Whilst Broja is one of the names under consideration, now that the Albanian international has recovered from a long standing knee injury, he is likely to be given more minutes by Mauricio Pochettino in the months ahead.

Ironically it was against Fulham that he scored his first goal since recovering from that injury in the Premier League in October.

This is not the first time the 22 year old has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge. He attracted interest from both AC Milan and West Ham in the summer, but refused to consider a move away, insisting that his priority was to establish himself at Chelsea.
