Arsenal are prepared to allow centre-back Jakub Kiwior to leave on loan in January to satisfy his wish for more regular first-team football.
The Polish international was signed from Serie A side Spezia last January, but he has struggled to make the breakthrough at the Emirates, and most of his 11 Premier League appearances have come as a substitute.
He has also several times been deployed out of position as a left-back.
Whilst the club still believe he may have a long-term future in North London, they are still prepared to sanction a loan for him in January, and it seems that a return to Italy is his most likely destination.
AC Milan, Roma and Atalanta are among the clubs reported to be interested in taking him for the second half of the 2023/2024 season.
Gunners’ fans might be concerned, however, that such a move will leave Mikel Arteta’s side light in terms of defensive options for the business end of the season.
