AC Milan are considering making a move for Arsenal defender Jakub Kiwior in January.
They have been forced to consider going into the market after an injury to Marco Pellegrino, whom they only signed in the summer, but has now been sidelined by an ankle problem, and could be out for several months.
Kiwior himself was signed from Italian football last January, joining from Spezia ina deal worth ₤20 million. But the Polish international has largely been confined to the role of a bit part player under Mikel Arteta, and is not a regular starter.
Milan would prefer a loan with an obligation to buy at the end of the season, but may face an uphill struggle convincing the Gunners to accept that.
With Jurrien Timber ruled out for the season with an ACL injury, Kiwior still offers decent cover, especially as he can also slot in at left back as well.
