That is despite the fact that he has verbally agreed a new deal with the Serie A side.
Still just 19, the Italian youth international has been in such good form for his club this seasion that it has prompted them to offer him a new improved contract.
That has also seen him attract notice from further afield, with the Gunners prominent among iother clubs to have scouted him.
And, whilst he may not immediately available, the Gunners may be ready to lay the groundwork now so they can be first in the queue if the Italian club decide to cash in at some stage.
Arsenal are already well-stocked when it comes to right-back options, although Jurrien Timber hs been ruled out for the rest of the season after suffering an ACL injury on his Premier League debut.
