Chelsea are open to allowing Trevoh Chalobah to leave on loan in January.
The 24 year old is currently injured and has been unavailable for selection so far this season. However, even when fit, he does not seem to be part of Mauricio Pochettino’s plans.
The club value him at £50 million, but were unable to find anybody willing to pay that sort of money for him in the summer.
He was linked with a move to Bayern Munich, but that failed to materialise in the end.
Despite that, rumours of a move to Germany, and a reunion with Thomas Tuchel, the man who gave him his first-team debut at Stamford Bridge persists.
Whilst Chelsea would prefer an outright move for the player, they are now prepared to allow him to leave on loan, although they will press for any deal with the Bundesliga side to include an option to buy.
