Newcastle United are the latest club to take an interest in the situation of Emile Smith-Rowe at Arsenal.
The England international continues to be on the periphery at the Emirates under Mikel Arteta, with his first-team opportunities limited to substitute appearances.
Although he is now fully recovered from the injuries that caused him to miss a large part of last season, Smith-Rowe does not seem to be fully trusted by his manager, which is leading him to consider his future at the club.
Aston Villa have had several bids for him turned down in the past, and West Ham are also reported to be monitoring developments with the 23 year old.
But now Newcastle have emerged as potential suitors as they look to build a squad capable of challenging both in the Premier and the Champions League.
He has already been added to their list of potential targets, and they could be ready to move for him as early as January when the window opens again.
