Jorginho could leave Arsenal in January.
The 31 year old is in the final year of his contract at the Emirates, and there has been no suggestion that he will be offered a new deal.
And whilst he has previously indicated that he is happy at the Emirates, his lack of first-team opportunities could see him tempted to cut his time there short.
Fenerbahçe were linked with a move for the Italian international in the summer, and there are suggestions that they are keen to renew their interest, although how much they would be willing to pay for the midfielder could be a sticking point.
At the same time, there has been talk that he could move back to Italy, having moved from Napoli ot Chelsea in the summer of 2018. One problem could be the African Cup of Nations, which, potentially could see the Gunners deprived of the services of both Thomas Partey and Mohammed Elneny, leaving only Jorginho as cover for Declan Rice
Andy is an exiled English football fan living in Cyprus. He loves all sports but football is his abiding passion, and he still has dreams every now and then about scoring the winning goal in a Wembley Cup Final, even though his playing days are long gone. He follows most major leagues, across Europe at least, and has a favoured team in each. When he’s not watching, listening, reading or downloading podcasts about football, he spend his time worrying about his beloved Arsenal.
Arsenal need not wait till January.
The guy ought to have gone before now.
