Tammy Abraham could be set for a dramatic return to Chelsea.
The academy graduate left for Roma two years ago and became one of the best strikers in Serie A, although he is out of action currently after picking up an ACL injury on the final day of last season.
However, with the Blues lack of goals a continuous theme this season, there is an urgent need to find a recognisable striker.
And there is a solution at hand, with Romelu Lukaku having joined the Serie A club on loan this summer.
Now a swap deal is being mooted, which would see Lukaku make his move permanent, whilst Abraham would return to West London.
Prior to his departure Abraham had scored 30 goals in 82 appearances for Chelsea, and had several successful loan spells, most notably with Aston Villa whom he helped get promotion up from the Championship.
