Bayern Munich are considering making a fresh attempt to sign Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah in the January window.
They were heavily linked with a move for the 24 year old over the summer, but, in the end, nothing materialised because the two clubs could not agree on a valuation for him.
Earlier in the window he rejected the opportunity to join Nottingham Forest.
It is unclear how much game time he can expect over the coming months – whilst some reports have indicated that he is surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge, Mauricio Pochettino has suggested that he will be involved in some capacity, although that may just mean a place in the League Cup squad for their forthcoming tie with Brighton.
And with so much competition for places in West London, it would be no surprise if he were allowed to leave in January, with no signs of the frantic transfer activity that has been typical since Todd Boehly took charge of the club slowing down.
