Trio battling to sign Hudson-Odoi

Callum Hudson-Odoi finds himself a man in demand as the transfer window approaches its climax.

At least three Premier League clubs are interested in signing the winger, who may be available for as little as £8 million.

Fulham, Everton and Nottingham Forest are all in the hunt for a player once tipped as a major future star before injuries and a loss of form took their toll.

He spent the last season on loan in the Bundesliga with Bayern Leverkusen, but struggled to make any lasting impact there, with fitness issues again blighting his progress.

Whilst he is willing to take a pay cut to leave Stamford Bridge, even his current valuation may be a challenge, given that he has only one year left on his current contract, and his constant battles to remain fit.

As he appears to have no future under Mauricio Pochettino, this may be an instance where Chelsea lower their price to get his wages off the books before the window closes.
