Arsenal have no interest in selling central defender Gabriel Magalhaes, despite him being the subject of interest from Saudi Arabia.
Al-Ittihad want to buy him, and the Gunners may be offered big money to part with the 25 year old Brazilian, who only signed a new contract at the Emirates last season.
Speculation about his future has arisen after he was left out of Arsenal’s starting line-up for their opening game of the season against Nottingham Forest, having started the previous 73 premier League games.
He was again on the bench for their away trip to Crystal Palace, although manager Mikel Arteta continues to insist that it is for tactical reasons.
In both games he came on as a substitute and helped add defensive solidity in the closing stage of the match.
And, whilst there may be a temptation to cash in on him and help balance the books after their summer transfer spending, the Gunners will not even put a valuation on him.
