Chelsea now want Forest striker

Chelsea show no signs of slowing down in the transfer target and have added Nottingham Forest striker Brennan Johnson to their wish list.

The 22 year old is also a target for Brentford, whilst Tottenham are considering him as a replacement for the departed Harry Kane.

Forest want at least £40 million for a player who has been with the club since the age of eight years old and is Nottingham born.

He has gone on to make 106 senior appearances for the club, scoring 29 goals, and was part of the side that won promotion to the Premier League via the play-offs two season ago.

Mauricio Pochettino is looking to broaden his striking options, with one of his summer signing, Christopher Nkonku, ruled out for several months of the season with a knee injury.
