Monaco are set to bid again to sign Arsenal striker Flo Balogun.
The Ligue 1 side have already made several efforts to acquire the US international in the current window, but so far they have failed to match the Gunners’ £50 million valuation of the player.
He has been linked with a string of clubs this summer, including Inter Milan, with the latest being Tottenham, who have a Harry-Kane sized hole to fill in their attack.
However, it is highly unlikely that Arsenal would be prepared to sell a player of Balogun’s calibre to their North London rivals, especially one who still has two years left on his current contract at the Emirates.
Balogun knows the French league well, having scored 21 goals whilst on loan with Reims last season.
Although he went on Arsenal’s pre-season tour of the USA, injury meant that he did not play in any of the games, and trained alone for most of the time.
