Juventus are set to renew their interest in Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey.
At the start of the window they had talks with the Ghanaian international and his representatives, with suggestions that he would move on from the Emirates in order to make way for Declan Rice.
However, the Italian club had moved their attention elsewhere, until several factors combined to mean he is once more a player of interest.
In the first place, one of their top midfield targets, Franck Kessie of Barcelona, decided to join the Saudi Pro League exodus, opting to join Al Ahli.
Meanwhile, Swiss midfielder Denis Zakaria, who spent last season on loan with Chelsea, is set to join AS Monaco, although no fee has been agreed yet between the two clubs.
Partey himself was linked with his own move to Saudi Arabia, with even suggestions that he had gone so far as to agree personal terms with a Middle Eastern club. In the end, though, nothing materialised.
