Both West Ham and Crystal Palace are interested in a move for Chelsea defender Trevor Chalobah.
He has been told that he can leave the club, following their decision to sign Axel Disasi from Monaco, rather than turn to their internal resources to replace the injured Wesley Fofana.
Chalobah signed a contract extension at Stamford Bridge until 2026 less than a year ago, but now his future in West London appears in considerable doubt.
There has also been speculation that he could move abroad, and Chalobah himself is reported to be open to the idea.
There is interest from the Bundesliga, with both Borussia Dortmund and Wolfsburg monitoring his situation, whilst Roma and Napoli from Serie A are also potential suitors.
Chelsea are expected to ask for up to £45 million for their academy graduate, although they may be prepared to accept a loan deal with an option to buy.
