Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun has been made to train alone amidst transfer interest from Inytert Milan.
The 22 year old is currently on tour with the Gunners in the USA, with the squad now in Los Angeles preparing for a friendly against Barcelona.
He is back with his parent club after his highly impressive season on loan in France last season for whom he netted 21 goals.
And, whilst ostensibly he remains part of Mikel Arteta’s plans for next season, he has made it clear that he wants regular first-team football, and that he does not want another loan move.
Whilst a number of clubs have been looking at him, Inter Milan appear the most advanced in their plans, and are believed to be ready to offer up to £35 million for him.
Separating him from the rest of the group appears designed to facilitate a potential move.
Andy is an exiled English football fan living in Cyprus. He loves all sports but football is his abiding passion, and he still has dreams every now and then about scoring the winning goal in a Wembley Cup Final, even though his playing days are long gone. He follows most major leagues, across Europe at least, and has a favoured team in each. When he’s not watching, listening, reading or downloading podcasts about football, he spend his time worrying about his beloved Arsenal.
