Striker Armando Broja wants to stay at Chelsea and fight for his place, despite West Ham indicating they want to buy him.
This is by no means the first time that the Hammers have shown an interest in him. Last summer they were also linked with him, but Chelsea insisted he was not for sale, and handed him a new six year deal.
However, his season came to a premature end after he suffered a knee injury playing against Aston Villa in a friendly during the World Cup break.
Now back to fitness, he was not part of the squad that flew out with Chelsea for their pre-season tour of the USA, giving rise to concerns that he wanted to leave the club in search of more regular game time.
But, despite new arrivals like Christopher Nkonku and Nicolas Jackson, Broja still has enough faikth in his own ability that he can force his way into Mauricio Pochettino’s plans.
