Chelsea are considering a move for former player Marc Guehi.
The 23 year old came through the youth system at Chelsea without ever playing a senior game for them.
Instead, after several loan spells with Swansea City, he was sold for Crystal Palace in the summer of 2021 for a fee of £18 million, which made him the club’s third most expensive signing ever.
That deal included a right for Chelsea to match any offers made for him in the future by other clubs, as well as various sell-on clauses.
Guehi has since gone on to become an established Premier League defended, and has been capped by England, winning four senior caps under Gareth Southgate to date.
However, Guehi will not come cheap. Palace are reported to have slapped a valuation of £60 million on a player who still has three years left on his current contract at Selhurst Park.
