It has been reported that an undisclosed Saudi club has agreed terms with Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey about a potential move.
The 30 year Ghanaian international had previously indicated that he was not interested in joining the Middle Eastern exodus, but now appears to have had a change of heart, motivated primarily by the size of the offer made to him.
He has also been linked with a series of Italian clubs, including Juventus, in the current transfer window.
Even six months ago, it seemed unlikely that Arsenal would want to let him go.
However, his form tailed off badly towards the end of last season, and, since, he has been at the Emirates, he has had more than his fair share of injuries.
And, with the arrival of Declan Rice, it is difficult to imagine that they could play in the same team together, without a major change in tactics.
