Chelsea want £40 million for their Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku.
Lukaku spent last season back on loan at former club Inter Milan, and they have enquired about the possibility of re-signing him on a permanent basis.
However, their initial overtures have been rejected, and there is now interest from fellow Serie A side Juventus, and Al-Hilal from Saudi Arabia.
He is unlikely to form part of Mauricio Pochettino’s plans for this season, and Chelsea are open to the idea of selling him, but they are hoping to use the fact that there are several clubs interested in selling him to drive up his final price.
Whilst they will never get back the £97.5 million they paid Inter for his services two years ago, recouping as much of that money as possible is their current aim.
Lukaku previously indicated that his preference was to remain in Italy, although he is now reported to be open to the idea of a move to the Middle East.
