Tottenham are being linked with a surprise move for Chelsea goalkeeper Édouard Mendy.
The North London club are looking for a replacement for club captain Hugo Lloris, who is out of contract this summer, and is the latest player to be linked with a switch to Saudi Arabia.
Mendy is one of the players likely to leave Stamford Bridge this summer, with both he and Kepa Arrizabalaga deemed not what new manager Mauricio Pochettino is looking for between the posts.
Now 31, Mendy joined Chelsea from Rennes in 2020 and has made 105 appearances for them in all competitions. He was part of the team that won the Champions League in 2021, and the Club World Cup the following year, but injuries and a loss of form have seen him lose his first-team place this season to Kepa.
He has been capped 29 times by his country Senegal, and helped them win the African Cup of Nations for the first time in their history in 2022.
