Chelsea midfielder Matteo Kovacic is set to be reunited with his former manager Thomas Tuchel at Bayern Munich.
The Croat is one of a number of players set to leave the Premier League clue, who need to reduce their squad in order to ensure that they do not fall foul of FFP (Financial Fair Play) regulations.
Kovacic has made just 15 Premier League starts this season and is looking for more regular first team involvement next season, whilst Tuchel is looking to strengthen his midfield options in Bundesliga.
Kovacic was signed from Real Madrid, initially on loan, before the deal was made permanent.
He has since gone on to make over 200 appearances for the club in all competitions, and was a vital member of the team that won the Champions League under Tuchel.
The 28 year old still has a year left on his contract, so Chelsea will be looking to extract some value from his sale.
