Juventus want to sign Chelsea defender Kalidou Koulibaly this summer.
The Senegalese defender only joined the Blues from Napoli in a £34 million deal, but has struggled in his first season in English football, with the speed and power of the Premier League exposing his limitations.
And there have also been rumours that he has been a divisive figure in what is already a fractured dressing room.
With Chelsea now desperately needing to trim their squad in order to comply with FFP (Financial Fair Play) requirements, he is one of the players that has been earmarked as dispensable.
Initial reports suggest that the Serie A club are interested in an initial loan deal, with no obligation to buy, and, although Chelsea would prefer a straight sale, Koulibaly’s stock has declined since he last played in Italy, and there is not a long queue of suitors for him.
