Chelsea have agreed a deal to sign Norwich City striker Alex Matos.
He is available on a free transfer with his deal at Carrow Road shortly coming to an end, and he will be moving to Stamford Bridge on July 1st.
The two clubs have agreed a sell-on clause, entitling the East Anglian club to a share of any transfer fee that Chelsea subsequently obtain for the 18 year old.
Matos is seen as very much one for the future and he is yet to make his senior debut for the Championship club.
However, his signing is in line with Chelsea’s recent policy of acquiring some of the best young talent from around the planet.
What has yet to be demonstrated is if there is any path into the first team for some of these players, especially give the depth of squad already accumulated by the West London club.
