Luis Enriqué is out of the running to be the new Chelsea boss.
The former Barcelona and Spain manager flew to London for talks about the vacant position, but he is not on the shortlist of candidates.
Another man not to make the final cut is Ruben Amorin, who is currently in charge of Sporting Lisbon.
Instead it is developing into a straight fight between Julian Nagelsmann and Mauricio Pochettino.
Nagelsmann reportedly impressed the Chelsea Board when he met with them,. and fresh talks are planned with the German, who was dismissed by Bayern Munich a few weeks ago.
Pochettino has not worked since leaving PSG in the summer, but is available, and was interviewed at the same time as discussions were being held with Graham Potter.
