Ben Chilwell has agreed a new four year deal at Chelsea.
The 26 year old joined the club from Leicester in 2020, and, despite issues with form and fitness since then, he has been one of the few shining lights in what has been a difficult season at Stamford Bridge.
He was already under contract in West London until 2025, but now his stay will be extended until 2027.
The new deal effectively ends speculation about his future, with Manchester City reported to be considering making a bid for him in the summer transfer window.
He has made 26 appearances in all competitions for Chelsea this season, and has reclaimed the left-back from big money signing Marc Cucurella.
Injury ruled him out of World Cup contention, but he is now set to compete with Luke Shaw for a starting berth for England under Gareth Southgate.
