Reports in Germany suggest that Arsenal are the favourites to sign Danish international Jesper Lindstrøm this summer.
The 23 year old is currently playing for Eintracht Frankfurt, but the midfielder is ambitious and wants to take his career to a new level.
He has also been linked with Brentford, who not only have a Danish manager, but also a large contingent of Danish players already.
However, the West London club do not have the finances to go head to head with the Gunners if it comes down to a transfer battle, with Lindstrøm valued at £27 million.
To date, Lindstrøm has made 70 competitive appearances for the Bundesliga side, scoring 13 goals and providing 14 assists. Among his strikes was Frankfurt’s first ever goal in the Champions League.
He was called up for the Denmark squad for the Qatar World Cup, and made his debut in a major international tournament in their opening group game against Tunisia.
