Chelsea are considering offloading goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga in the summer, as they look for an upgrade on the Spaniard.
When they signed him from Athletic Bilbao in 2018, Kepa became the most expensive goalkeeper in the world, and it is arguable if Chelsea have had their money’s worth in the intervening period.
Whilst there have been some fine performances, there has also been a lot of inconsistency, and he was relegated to number two status at Stamford Bridge behind Édouard Mendy until injury and loss of form cost the Senegalese international his place.
It has also been reported that a shortlist of replacements has also been drawn-up, with David Raya of Brentford, and Robert Sanchez of Brighton among them.
Kepa is under contract with the West London club until June 2025.
