Chelsea want to sign Leeds United keeper Illan Meslier in the summer.
Graham Potter wants to sign a new keeper in the summer, and Meslier is high on their wish list.
The 23 year old recently became the youngest goalkeeper to have played 100 Premier League games.
Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United have also been linked with a move for the Frenchman, but Chelsea believe they can out-bid them, as they have with a number of high profile players recently.
Édouard Mendy has refused to sign a new contract with the West London club, and he could well be sold when the transfer window. Whilst Kepa Arrizabalaga wore the captain’s armband against Everton on Saturday, he has yet to convince Potter that he should be the long-term number one. Meslier was initially signed on loan from Ligue 1 side in Lorient in 2019, but they picked up their option to make the move permanent.
