Arsenal are just one of several Premier League clubs linked with a move for Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savić.
The Gunners have identified midfield as an area which they want to strengthen in the summer, and they have been long-term admirers of Milinkovic-Savić, who moved to the Serie side from Genk in 2015, and has since gone on to make more than 300 appearances for them in all competitions.
This is by no means that the Serbian international has been linked with a move to the Premier League, but it seems that Lazio are now reconciled him leaving, and have quoted a price of £35 million for the 27 year old.
With Newcastle and West Ham among those also reported to be interested in signing him, there have been suggestions that Arsenal have tried to pre-empt them by already making a bid for a player who is the highest scoring midfielder in the history of Lazio.
