Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson who is out of contract in the summer is a man in demand with a number of clubs interested in signing him, West Ham among them.
The 23 year old has had a stop start season at the Emirates, with injury hampering his progress, and has made just seven appearances in all competitions, just three of them starts.
However, he showed that he was still capable of making an impact when he scored twice in a matter of minutes when he came off the bench against Nottingham Forest back in October.
His preference has always been to remain with the Gunners, although the club do not appear to be in a hurry to offer him a new deal.
And the arrival of Leandro Trossard, who scored his first goal at home to Brentford, means that Nelson has been pushed further down the pecking order under Mikel Arteta.
