Chelsea are interested in signing Brentford keeper David Raya in the summer, although they potentially face competition from a number of other clubs.
The 27 year old is out of contract in less than 18 months, and, although he has been offered a new deal, has turned it down in the hope of attracting better offers.
Although Chelsea have both Kepa Arrizabalaga and Édouard Mendy on their books already, neither has totally convinced the hierarchy at Stamford Bridge, and they may be in the market for an upgrade on the pair.
Raya made his international debut for Spain last year, and was part of their World Cup squad, although he did not feature in any of their matches in Qatar.
He began his professional career with Blackburn Rovers, before joining Brentford in 2019, when they were still a Championship club.
He has since played for them 145 times in all competitions.
