Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is closing to a move to the MLS.
Signed by Thomas Tuchel just before the German was sacked, the former Arsenal striker has endured a tough time in West London, and was struggling for game time, even before the arrival of all the January signings at the club.
He has managed just three goals in 17 appearances for the Blues.
And when he was dropped from their Champions League squad to make way for Joāo Felix, Mykhailo Mudryk and Enzo Fernandez, his prospects took a further blow.
Now he is on the verge of joining MLS side Los Angeles FC for the remainder of the season.
Los Angeles won the MLS Cup for the first time in their history last November, beating Philadelphia Union in the final on a penalty shoot-out in what turned out to be Gareth Bale’s last club game.
