Newcastle United are potentially interested in signing Chelsea midfielder Jorginho at the end of the season.
The Italian will be out of contract at the end of the season and available on a free transfer.
He has been linked with a return to Italy, but Newcastle could yet try and persuade him to extend his stay in the Premier League.
Signed from Napoli in 2018, he has made more than 200 appearances for the West London club, scoring 29 times, many of them from the penalty spot.
During his time at Stamford Bridge he has won the Champions League, the Club World Cup and the Europa League.
He was part of the Italian side that won the Euros in 2021.
However, he has become increasingly injury prone and it does not look like Chelsea will be offering him a new deal at this stage.
