Chelsea may be about to bid for Juventus striker Dusan Vlahović.
The Serbian forward was heavily linked with a move to Arsenal when he was a Fiorentina player, but, instead joined Serie A rivals Juventus in a deal worth up to £70 million.
However, despite being with the Turin club less than a year ago, he could be available for transfer again because of the off the field problems that the Italian club are facing,
Already heavily in debt they are under investigation for the accounting treatment of player’s registration fees, and recently their entire Board resigned as the fall-out from the issue continues.
That means that they might be forced to sell assets to raise money, and, at 22, Vlahović is one of the most sellable.
The West London club’s need for a highly quality striker is well documented and, given the long-term injury just suffered by Armando Broja, that could force them to spend heavily in the January transfer window.
