Winger Mykhaylo Mudryk remains the January priority for Arsenal in the January transfer window.
The 21 year old Shakhtar Donetsk player has been on their radar for some time, and respected sources believe that there is a good chance that a move will happen in January, although not for the sort of price that the Ukrainian club have quoted.
They claim that they will not settle for less than £90 million for the player, but given that he is still at the beginning of his career, such expectations are unrealistic.
Some journalists have drawn inferences from the fact that he was recently in Dubai at the same time as the Gunners were holding a training camp there, but that appears to be just coincidence.
Despite the injury to Gabriel Jesus, Arsenal have decided not to change their transfer plans and will be focusing on signing a wide forward like Mudryk, and a holding midfielder to add cover for Thomas Partey.
